CORRECTION
Stop camera learn mode, update GDS2 version and reprogram the module with new software.
SERVICE INFORMATION
Working Procedure:
- Stop the Front View Camera Learn Mode
- Update / Install the new diagnostic package in GDS2.
- New Version : V2016.8.0 (Date : 2016-07-18)
- Turn the vehicle ignition off.
- Perform the Cancel Camera Learn via newly added GDS2 application 'Cancel Camera Learn'.
IMPORTANT:Be sure to turn vehicle ignition off before commanding the 'Cancel Camera Learn'
- Update / Install the new diagnostic package in GDS2.
- Reprogram the Front Camera View Module.
(Please refer to front view camera reprogram & calibration in GSI)
- Reprogram the front view camera module with new software using the Service Programming System (SPS)
- New operational software number #39057844
- At the end of programming, choose the "Clear All DTCs" function on the SPS screen
- Perform the module calibration (Camera Learn).
- The Front View Camera Learn procedure will start automatically after SPS programming (Configuration & Setup) is complete. During this time the Lane Departure Warning amber indicator will illuminate.
- Operate the vehicle in the following conditions until the calibration is complete.
- Clean windshield.
- Avoid lane changes.
- Maintain vehicle speeds between 56-90 km/h (35-56 MPH).
- Ensure the road contains visible references (well defined lane markings, curbs, etc.).
- Reprogram the front view camera module with new software using the Service Programming System (SPS)
IMPORTANT:
Once the procedure is complete, the amber indicator will turn off. Shortly after the green ready to assist light should turn on as long as all conditions are met for normal operation.
