Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify that DTC B0967 02 is not set.
    • If the DTC is set 

      Refer to Parking Assist Switch Malfunction.

    • If the DTC is not set 
  3. Verify that B0968 01 or B0968 06 is not set.
    • If the DTC is set 

      Refer to Parking Assist Switch Indicator Malfunction.

    • If the DTC is not set 
  4. Verify parking assist indicator turns on and off when commanding the Parking Assist Switch LED parameter On and Off with a scan tool.
    • If the LED does not turn On and Off 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Parking Assist Switch Indicator Malfunction.

    • If the LED turns On and Off 
  5. Activate and deactivate the parking assist switch and verify the scan tool Park Assist Switch parameter changes between Active and Inactive.
    • If the Parking Assist Switch parameter does not change between Active and Inactive 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Parking Assist Switch Malfunction.

    • If the Parking Assist Switch parameter changes between Active and Inactive 
  6. All OK.
