Installation Procedure

  1. If replacing the engine control module, reprogram the module. Refer to Control Module References
  2. Engine Control Module (3) - Install.

  3. Engine Control Module Cover (2) - Install
  4. Engine Control Module Bracket Retaining Tabs (1) - Engage [2x]
  5. Engine Control Module And Bracket Assembly (2) - Install

  6. Engine Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Install 9 N.m (80 lb in)
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  7. Electrical Connector @ Engine Control Module - Connect
  8. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9) - Connect
