Glow Plug Control Module Replacement

Preliminary Procedure 
Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement 
1 Glow Plug Control Module Bolt
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
10 (89 lb in)
2 Glow Plug Module Connector
Procedure 
Disconnect the glow plug module connector.
3 Glow Plug Control Module

Procedure

  1. If the scan tool DPF Soot Mass is less than 30 grams, enable the DPF. Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regeneration Enable 
  2. If the scan tool DPF Soot Mass is 30 grams or greater, refer to Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Service Regeneration .
  3. Perform the glow plug module programming and setup. Glow Plug Control Module Programming and Setup
