Installation Procedure

  1. GM4091391

    Battery Current Sensor(2) - Install

  2. Install the battery negative cable terminal cover (1).
  3. GM4091389

    Battery Negative Cable Clip(1) - Install[2x]

  4. Battery Current Sensor Connector(2) - Connect
  5. GM4091410
    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Install body extension current sensor wiring harness to battery negative cable bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  6. GM4091388

    Connect the battery negative pole clamp (1).

  7. Tighten the battery negative pole clamp nut (2) to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).
  8. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection  - Connect
  9. Fold the rear seat back cushion in original position.
  10. Close the right rear door.
  11. Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Support Replacement - Remove
  12. Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Replacement (Notchback)Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Replacement (Hatchback) - Remove
  13. Close the rear compartment lid.
  14. Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode & Engine - Off
  15. Program the volatile memory. Volatile Memory Programming
  16. Program all of the customer's radio station presets and set the radio clock to the current time.
