Installation Procedure

  1. GM4846615

    Lubricate the oil pump flow control valve seal with clean engine oil and install the valve (2) in the engine block. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the oil pump flow control valve bolt (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  3. GM4846614

    Position the oil pump flow control valve retainer (4) to the engine.

  4. Install the oil pump flow control valve bolt (3) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  5. Install the engine wiring harness clip (2) to the retainer.
  6. Connect the electrical connector (1).
