RECOMMENDATIONS / INSTRUCTIONS
General Motors Technical Assistance Center part restriction on the Accessory Power Module, also known as the APM, for the 2016-2019 Volt has ended.
We would like to thank all dealers who participated in this restriction for their cooperation.
The Accessory Power Module can now be ordered through the regular GM CCA parts process or PQC process for required dealers.
Use the vehicle identification number (VIN), SI, and the GM Electronic Parts Catalog to determine the correct part to order.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
