Installation Procedure

NOTE:
Do not tighten the battery sensor pole nut (2).

Loosely install the battery sensor (1) carefully.

NOTE:
Use a counterholder to prevent damage at the battery sensor.

Battery Negative Cable (3) - Install
Install a open-end spanner (1) counterhold up the battery sensor as shown in the graphic.

CAUTION:

Install and tighten the battery negative cable nut (2) to 11N.m (97 lb in).

Connect the wiring harness plug (1) to the battery sensor.
Tighten the battery negative pole nut (2) to 4.5N.m (40 lb in).
Fold the rear seat back cushion in original position.
Close the right rear door.

Close the rear compartment lid.
Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode & Engine - Off
Program the volatile memory. Volatile Memory Programming .
Program all of the customer's radio station presets and set the radio clock to the current time.
