Preliminary Procedure
- Remove the instrument panel lower compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Compartment Replacement
.
- Remove the instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement
.
- If the module is equipped with a wireless communication interface antenna, the communication interface module bracket must be removed. Refer to Communication Interface Module Bracket Replacement .

Communication Interface Module Procedure
- Slide the module forward and release from tabs on bracket.
- Disconnect the electrical connections.
- If replacing the communication interface module be sure to transfer wireless communication interface antenna, if equipped.
