Calibration Procedure

NOTE:

To complete the battery sensor module calibration, there must be no parasitic electrical drains on the battery. A parasitic electrical drain greater than 100 mA will result in an inability to complete the calibration. All parasitic electrical drains must be corrected before the battery sensor module calibration can be completed. Refer to Battery Electrical Drain/Parasitic Load Test .

  1. Ignition ON, engine OFF.
  2. Install a scan tool.
  3. Clear all DTCs before proceeding.
  4. Navigate to the Configuration/Reset Functions menu of the BCM.
  5. Select the Battery Sensor Module procedure and follow the directions displayed on the screen.
