Installation Procedure

    Windshield (1) - Install - Adhesive Installation of Windshields 

  2. With the aid of an assistant, install the windshield (1) and locating pin (2) to the vehicle.

  4. Air Inlet Grille Panel (2) - Install
    1. Connect the windshield washer nozzle hose from the windshield washer pump hose.
    2. Tilt down the front edge of the air inlet grille panel, slide the grille panel rearward and under both hood hinges.
    3. Air inlet grill panel retainers (1) - Install [ 8x ]

    Install the air inlet grille panel extension (1).

    1. Remove the masking tape.
    2. Using a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water with a clean towel, remove any left over adhesive residue from the masking tape.

    Clean the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft splines with a soft wire brush before installing the windshield wiper arm (3).

  7. Position the windshield wiper arm (3) on the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft.
  8. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  9. Windshield Wiper Arm Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Clean the inside of the windshield before installing the front view driver information camera bracket (1).

  12. Front View Driver Information Camera Bracket (1) - Install

    Front View Camera (1) - Install

  14. Slide the front view camera (1) forward to engage.

    Rotate the front view camera (1) upward and secure the retaining tabs.

  16. Connect the electrical connector.

    Inside Air Moisture and Windshield Temperature Sensor (1) - Install

  18. Connect the electrical connector.

    Inside Rearview Mirror (2) - Install

  20. Inside Rearview Mirror Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Install the windshield multifunction sensor mount bracket cover (1) ensuring the retaining tabs are fully seated.

    Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover Insert (1) - Install

  23. Windshield Garnish Molding

    Connect the electrical connector.

  25. Windshield Garnish Molding Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  26. Align the retainer clips with the slots in the A pillar and press the windshield garnish molding (1) into place.

    If required, realign the windshield wipers to their respective alignment circles (1) on the windshield.

    1. Lubricate the windshield with clean washer fluid.
    2. Run the windshield wipers for two complete cycles then turn off the windshield wipers.
    3. Ensure the windshield wipers are in the full park position.
    4. Inspect the windshield wipers for proper position to the alignment circles (1) on the windshield.
  29. Enable the SIR System.
  30. Perform the necessary programming and setup procedure: Control Module References
