Removal Procedure

    NOTE:

    Prior to disconnecting the BCM, roll down one or both front windows, to accommodate entrance into the vehicle when the door is shut.

    Body Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove

  2. Unlock and lower the body control module bracket (2).
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  4. Close and lock the body control module bracket (2) into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator.

    Instrument Panel Insulator Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

    NOTE:

    Use a plastic trim tool if necessary.

    Release the front edge of the front floor console extension panel from the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator (1).

  7. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (1) - Remove
  8. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  9. Reposition the front floor panel carpet as necessary.

    Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  11. Release the retaining tab.
  12. Lighting Control Module (1) - Remove
