5	Power Transfer Unit Intermediate Drive Shaft Seal CAUTION: When replacing power transfer unit case seals, use appropriate GM tools along with a hydraulic press. Failure to do so may result in misalignment or damage to the seal and/or power transfer unit. CAUTION: Do not nick, scratch or damage the sealing surface. The sealing surface is a machined surface. Damage to the machined surface can cause leakage. Special Tools DT-51835 Seal Installer J-42176 Driver Handle Equivalent regional tools: Refer to Special Tools .
6	Power Transfer Unit Half Shaft Seal - O-Ring Procedure Install a NEW seal.
7	Power Transfer Unit Intermediate Drive Shaft Clip Procedure Install a NEW retainer.
