Power Transfer Case Actuator Motor Rotational Position Sensor

The rotational position sensor is internal to the power transfer unit actuator motor and is replaced with the motor as an assembly. The hall-effect design sensor converts the rotary cam position into an electrical signal and input to the rear differential clutch control module. The module detects what position the power transfer unit is in by monitoring the voltage returned on the rotational impulse signal circuit.
