Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  3. Automatic Transmission and Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Assembly - Remove - Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Removal and Installation
  4. Place match marks on the steering linkage inner tie rod nut and the steering linkage inner tie rod.

    Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod (1) - Remove

    Steering Linkage Inner Tie Rod Nut (1) - Remove

    Steering Gear Boot Outer Clamp (1) - Remove

  8. Steering Gear Boot Inner Clamp (3) - Remove and DISCARD
  9. Steering Gear Boot (2) - Remove
