K132 Pedestrian Alert Sound Control Module Setup

NOTE:

The K132 Pedestrian Alert Sound Control Module is capable of producing different pedestrian alert tones/frequencies to comply with rules and regulations in various countries/territories.

NOTE:

If the K132 Pedestrian Sound Alert Control Module is replaced, the module must be setup through SPS to ensure it will emit the correct pedestrian alert tone/frequency for the country/territory the vehicle is operated in.

  1. Access the Service Programming System (SPS) and follow the on-screen instructions.
  2. On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, under Select Controller, select K132 Pedestrian Alert Sound Control Module.
  3. On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, under Select Function/Sequence, select Setup and follow on screen instructions.
  4. Clear All DTCs.
