Fuel System Pressure Release

  1. Fuel pressure must be fully released before opening fuel loop or removing any fuel carrying components. To release pressure in tank, open fuel tank cap slowly.
  2. To release remaining pressure in system, disconnect 2-way connector from any fuel injector. Using jumper wire, connect either injector terminal to ground. Connect remaining injector terminal to positive battery terminal.
  3. DO NOT  keep injector connected in this way for more than 10 seconds. Fuel pressure should be fully released.
