Transmitter Programming

  1. Turn ignition on. Connect jumper wire between Data Link Connector (DLC) terminal No. 1 and ground. See Fig 1 . DLC is under instrument panel, to right of steering column.
  2. Door locks will lock and unlock. This indicates receiver is ready to receive transmitter code. Trunk solenoid will not cycle.
  3. Press any transmitter button to set code. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming. If second transmitter requires code to be set, press button of second transmitter. Locks will cycle.
  4. Remove jumper wire. Operate each transmitter to confirm correct operation. Also operate trunk release button.
