Vehicle Speed Signal

The vehicle speed signal is sent as a direct input from the TCM to PCM. The output speed sensor signal is sent to the.TCM and used as the vehicle speed signal. The TCM converts the output speed sensor signal to an 8000 pulse-per-mile signal. The signal is then sent directly to the PCM. The PCM receives this signal and converts it to a signal that can be used by the Body Control Module (BCM), which controls the instrument cluster. The signal from the PCM to the BCM is sent over the CCD Bus.
