Removal & Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Concorde, and 2002 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is located at driver side front corner of engine compartment, between power distribution center and Transmission Control Module (TCM). See Figure .

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove speed control servo with bracket and wiring harness and set aside. Remove filler neck from windshield washer fluid bottle. Remove TCM for access to PCM. Remove PCM bolt and pull PCM outward. Disconnect connectors from PCM. Remove PCM. To install, reverse removal procedure. Program module(s) as necessary. See appropriate module under PROGRAMMING  .
