Crankshaft Main Bearing

1. Install main bearing bedplate to engine block bolts 11, 17 and 20 finger tight. Tighten these bolts down together until the bedplate contacts the cylinder block.
2. Tighten bolts 1 - 10 to 81 Nm (60 ft. lbs.).
3. Tighten bolts 11 - 20, with baffle studs in positions 12, 13 and 16, to 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.).
