CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and energy systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.

Perform all basic diagnostic procedures in BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES - CARS article. If no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) are present after entering self-diagnostics, diagnose by symptom. See TEST NTC-1: NO TROUBLE CODES TESTS MENU under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS. If after performing TEST NTC-1 problem is not identified or repaired, proceed to TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES - GASOLINE article for diagnosis by symptom.
