Power Circuit

Remove driver's door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect driver's power window switch connector. Turn ignition on. Using DVOM, measure voltage between power window wiring harness connector terminals No. 10 (Black wire) and No. 1 (Tan wire). See Figure . If battery voltage is present, test power window switch. See WINDOW SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS. If battery voltage is not present, check circuit breaker No. 2 (20 amp) located in junction block located on left end of instrument panel. Repair as necessary. If circuit breaker is okay, check for an open circuit between ignition switch and power window switch connector.
