Power Mirror System

If only one mirror is inoperative, diagnose and repair mirror. See POWER MIRROR MOTOR  under COMPONENT TESTS. If both mirrors are inoperative, check fuse No. 6 (15-amp), located in power distribution center. If fuse is blown, repair short in circuit or component. If fuse is okay, check voltage at mirror switch connector terminal No. 9 (Pink/Violet wire). If voltage does not exist, repair open circuit in Pink/Violet wire. If voltage exists, disconnect mirror switch connector. Check continuity between harness connector terminal No. 11 (Black wire) and ground. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open circuit in Black wire. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, check switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS.
