Battery Power To Module Disconnected

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC) located under left side of instrument panel. See Figure . Turn ignition on. Use scan tool, erase DTCs. Cycle ignition off and on. Using scan tool, check for DTCs. If DTC does not reset, no problem is indicated at this time. Check for intermittent wiring harness or connector problems. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If DTC resets, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Remove Body Control Module (BCM) from junction block. See BODY CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Turn ignition on. Using a test light connected to ground, probe terminal No. 12 at BCM-to-junction block 12-pin connector. See Figure . If test light illuminates, replace BCM. If test light does not illuminate, replace junction block.
