Bootloader Checksum Failure

Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC) located under left side of instrument panel. See Figure . Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, erase DTCs. Cycle ignition off and on. Using scan tool, check for DTCs. If DTC does not reset, no problem is indicated at this time. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS. If DTC resets, replace body control module.
