Memory System

Memory system consists of power driver's seat, power mirrors and radio station presets. Memory Seat/Mirror Module (MSMM) receives input signals from power seat switch, power seat position sensors, Programmable Communication Interface (PCI) bus and power mirror position sensors. Memory switch is hard wired to Body Control Module (BCM). When memory switch (or RKE transmitter on Town & Country Limited models) is pressed to recall memory setting, BCM sends signal to MSMM. MSMM checks to see if seat or mirrors are currently being moved. If seat or mirrors are not moving, MSMM will send motion status message to BCM. BCM will them send a memory recall message to MSMM allowing stored seat, mirrors and radio stations to be recalled for that memory setting. Memory system is disabled when shift lever is not in Park or Neutral position.
