Transmission Range Sensor: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure using NEW manual shaft seal. Apply 1/8" bead of RTV sealant on oil pan sealing surfaces before installing oil pan.
  2. Tighten transmission range sensor retaining screw, valve body-to-transaxle case bolts and oil pan bolts to 14 ft. lbs. (19 N.m). Fill transaxle to proper level with Mopar(R) ATF Plus Type 7176 fluid.
