Incomplete Latch Release - Overcurrent

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Using scan tool, record and erase DTCs. Turn ignition off. Wait approximately 10 seconds. Turn ignition on. Operate power sliding door several times if possible. Recheck for DTCs. If INCOMPLETE LATCH RELEASE - OVERCURRENT resets, go to next step. If INCOMPLETE LATCH RELEASE - OVERCURRENT does not reset, system is okay at this time. Check for intermittent poor connections or faulty circuits. See WIRING DIAGRAMS in POWER SLIDING DOORS & LIFTGATE - CARAVAN, TOWN & COUNTRY, & VOYAGER article.
  2. Visually inspect sliding door for proper alignment, damaged strikers, damaged latches or obstructions. Repair as necessary. If possible, check operation of sliding door on a known-good vehicle. If sliding door effort is excessive, diagnose power sliding door. See TROUBLE SHOOTING in POWER SLIDING DOORS & LIFTGATE - CARAVAN, TOWN & COUNTRY, & VOYAGER article. If sliding door effort is not excessive, replace sliding door cinch/release motor.
