A/C Pressure Transducer

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Dodge Intrepid, 2003 Chrysler Intrepid, 2003 Chrysler Concorde, and 2003 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

A/C pressure transducer may also be referred to as A/C pressure sensor. A/C pressure transducer is located on the discharge line, near the A/C compressor. A/C pressure transducer monitors A/C discharge (high-side) pressure. A/C pressure transducer signals PCM when pressure is sufficient for A/C operation. It is not necessary to discharge the refrigerant system to replace the A/C pressure transducer.
