INSTRUMENT CLUSTER


SELF TEST
The EMIC Self Test is initiated by holding the trip reset knob while rotating the ignition switch from the Off position to the Run/Start Position or by using the DRBIII (R). The self test will be terminated when the tachometer is greater than 300 rpm, the ignition switch is turned Off or the self test is complete.


TEST ROUTINE
The Self Test will perform the following procedure (at 2 second intervals with a short pause between VF messages):
1. Chime once.
2. Count all digits from 0 to 9 (with decimal on) in approximately 3 seconds.
3. Display the last 6 digits of the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
4. Display Application Code Level (for example FL0002).
5. Display EEPROM version (for example EE 02).
6. Display Boot Loader version (for example bL 01).
7. Display Speedometer Calibration Points.
8. Display the Fuel Gauge Calibration Points.
9. Display the Temperature Calibration Points: mm, normal, mid, temp high, and temp critical.
10. Display the Tachometer Calibration Points.
11. Illuminate all learned and standard indictors (Telltale and VF indicators) for approximately 5 seconds.
