Removal & Installation (2.4L)

  1. Note radio programs. Disconnect the negative battery cable and isolate.
  2. WARNING: If the negative battery cable is not disconnected, the PCM can be damaged by contacting the positive battery cable at the PDC.
  3. Remove the 2 nuts holding the PCM and bracket. See Fig 1. Unlock and disconnect the electrical connectors at the PCM.
  4. Remove the 3 fasteners holding the PCM to the bracket.
  5. To install, reverse removal procedure. Using DRBIII® scan tool, program PCM and SKIM if equipped. See PROGRAMMING .
