Removal & Installation (2.7L)

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the air cleaner box. See AIR CLEANER BOX  under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. Disconnect PCM 2 40-way connector. See Fig 1.
  2. Reposition wiring harness out of the way. Remove the 2 bolts and 1 nut and remove PCM and bracket. See Fig 2. Remove the PCM from the bracket and remove the PCM. See Fig 3.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Using DRBIII® scan tool, program PCM and SKIM, if equipped. See PROGRAMMING .
