Brake Switch
NOTE:
The brake switch may also be referred to as brakelamp switch, brakelight switch or stoplight switch.
The brake switch is located under the instrument panel, at the brake pedal arm. See Fig 1The brake switch has 3 internal switches controlling various functions of the vehicle. Its controls operation of the vehicle's brake lamps. Also, if vehicle is equipped with speed control, the brake switch will deactivate speed control when brake pedal is depressed.
