Computerized Engine Controls: Notes

New for 2003, some vehicles are equipped with a combined Powertrain Control Module and Transmission Control Module in a single control module. This new module is called the Next Generation Controller (NGC). See Figure. This new NGC module will be referred to as the Powertrain Control Module.
