Diagnostic Test
- 1)
MEASURE THE RESISTANCE OF THE REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT

Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the SKREEM harness connector.
Remove the Remote Keyless Entry Relay.
NOTE: Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary.Measure the resistance of the Remote Keyless Entry Relay Control circuit from the SKREEM harness connector to the Remote Keyless Entry Relay harness connector.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
Yes
- Go to step 2).
No
- Repair the Remote Keyless Entry Relay Control circuit for an open.
- Perform SENTRY KEY VERIFICATION TEST .

MEASURE THE VOLTAGE OF THE REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT

Turn the ignition on.
Measure the voltage of the Remote Keyless Entry Relay Control circuit at the Remote Keyless Entry Relay harness connector.
Is voltage present?
Yes
- Repair the Remote Keyless Entry Relay Control circuit for a short to voltage.
- Perform SENTRY KEY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Go to step 3).

MEASURE THE RESISTANCE OF THE REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT

Turn the ignition off.
Measure the resistance between ground and the Remote Keyless Entry Relay Control circuit at the Remote Keyless Entry Relay harness connector.
Is the resistance below 10K ohms?
Yes
- Repair the Remote Keyless Entry Relay Control circuit for a short to ground.
- Perform SENTRY KEY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Replace the Remote Keyless Entry Relay.
- Perform SENTRY KEY VERIFICATION TEST .
