Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air pump assembly.

Mounting Bracket Bolts:

3. Remove 2 bracket mounting bolts.

Remove/Install Assembly:

4. Remove the bracket assembly.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector to MAF.

Mass Air Flow Sensor:

6. Twist the MAF sideways and remove from bracket.

Removing Sensor From Bracket:

7. Remove the rubber mounting.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the rubber mounting to MAF sensor.




2. Twist the MAF sideways and install to bracket.




3. Connect the electrical connector to MAF.




4. Install the bracket assembly.




5. Install 2 bracket mounting bolts.
6. Install the air pump assembly.
7. Connect negative battery cable.
