Occupant Restraint Controller: Installation

  1. Connect the two ORC connectors (3) and ensure that all locking tabs are engaged.

  2. Position ORC (arrow pointing forward) in the console floor bracket, replace ground eyelet (1), and attach the screws (2) and tighten to 10.5 N.m (95 in. lbs.).
    NOTE: Place the ground eyelet (1) on the passenger side front screw (2) when reattaching the ORC.
  3. Install center console assembly (Refer to BODY/INTERIOR/CENTER CONSOLE - INSTALLATION) .
WARNING: Do not connect the battery negative cable (Refer to ELECTRICAL/RESTRAINTS - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING - AIRBAG SYSTEM)  . Personal injury or death may result if the system test is not performed first.
