Sentry Key Immobilizer System
To diagnose the Sentry Key Remote Entry Module (SKREEM) (sometimes referred to as the Wireless Control Module (WCM), the ElectroMechanical Instrument Cluster (EMIC) (sometimes referred to as the Cab Compartment Node (CCN), the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM), the intrusion module, the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus or the electronic message inputs and outputs used to provide the electronic features of the VTA, use a diagnostic scan tool and refer to the appropriate diagnostic information.
SENTRY KEY IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS

| SECURITY INDICATOR FAILS TO LIGHT DURING BULB TEST | 1. Light-Emitting Diode (LED) faulty. | 1. Use a diagnostic scan tool to perform the instrument cluster actuator test. Refer to the appropriate diagnostic information. |
| - | 2. Ignition feed faulty. | 2. Check for battery voltage at the connector for the SKREEM with the ignition switch in the On position. Repair the faulty ignition feed circuit, as required. |
| SECURITY INDICATOR FLASHES FOLLOWING BULB TEST OR THE WCM DETECTS AN ISSUE WITH THE VIN AND/OR PCM. | 1. Invalid key in ignition switch lock cylinder. | 1. Replace the key with a known valid key. |
