Speed Control: Servo: Removal: Servo

  1. Remove the air cleaner lid and makeup air hose. Refer to REMOVAL .

  2. Remove the negative battery cable.

    2 - Vacuum Line and Nipple
  3. Remove two nuts attaching speed control cable and mounting bracket to servo. See Fig 1.
  4. Remove servo from the mounting bracket.
  5. Disconnect electrical connectors and vacuum hose.

  6. Remove the engine cover.
  7. Remove cable from throttle cam. See REMOVAL .
  8. Remove the 2 push nuts and discard.
  9. Remove clip attaching cable to servo. See Fig 4.
