Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor - Removal






2.0L/2.4L ENGINE

Non-Turbo










1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Partially drain cooling system below level of engine coolant temperature sensor (1).
3. Disconnect engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove engine coolant temperature sensor (1).

Turbo










1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Partially drain cooling system below level of engine coolant temperature sensor (2).
3. Remove upper torque strut Engine Torque Strut - Removal.
4. Disconnect engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
5. Remove engine coolant temperature sensor (2).
