Adaptive Front Lighting System Module - Installation

INSTALLATION

1. Position the Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFLS) module (1) into the right front corner of the engine compartment.
2. Reconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector (3) to the AFLS module connector receptacle.
3. Align the AFLS module mount to the blade-type bracket (2) integral to the right front corner of the Power Distribution Center (PDC) bracket.
4. Push the AFLS module mount down over the bracket until the latch feature snaps into place.
5. Reconnect the battery negative cable.

NOTE: Whenever the Advanced Front Lighting System (AFLS) module is removed and reinstalled or replaced with a new unit, it is necessary for the AFLSM to be configured and calibrated to the vehicle using a calibration procedure. Follow the programming steps outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for the "AFLS Module Calibrate" routine under "Miscellaneous Functions" for the "AFLS Module" menu item as appropriate.
