Light Rain Sensor Module (LRSM) - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the trim cover from the inside rear view mirror mounting bracket. Interior Rearview Mirror - Removal.
3. Disconnect the wire harness connector (1) from the LRSM (2).
4. Depress one side of the spring steel retaining strap on the LRSM towards the windshield while lightly prying the end of the strap closest to the glass away from the tab of the mounting bracket (3) on the windshield. Now rotate the loose side of the LRSM away from the glass far enough to disengage the other side of the strap from the mounting bracket tab.
5. Remove the LRSM from the mounting bracket.
