Fan, Cooling: Installation: 3.0L

- Install the fan blade (4) to the fan motor. Tighten the nut (3) to 6 N.m (50 in. lbs.).
- Position the fan motor assembly to the shroud (6).
- Install the bolts (2) that secure the fan motor to the shroud. Tighten to 6 N.m (50 in. lbs.).
- Route the fan motor wiring harness (5) through the fan shroud (6).

- While tilting the radiator lower support forward, feed the cooling fan assembly up into position.

- Guide the fan (1) into the lower radiator mounts (2).

- Install the cooling fan mounting bolts (2). Tighten to 6 N.m (50 in. lbs.)
- Attach the charge air hose and tighten the clamp.

- Tighten the radiator lower support bolts (1) to 40 N.m (30 Ft. lbs.).
- Install the lower engine covers.
- Connect the cooling fan electrical connector.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Operate engine until it reaches normal operating temperature. Verify normal cooling fan operation.
