Description And Operation: Operation
The VRM routes audio and video signals from the front, left and right seatback auxiliary ports to the vehicle's video screens via USB cables, and monitors the input and output signals for any wiring or connection concerns. For vehicles configured with sales code RHH - Seatback Video Screens, the Radio uses the selection status for audio output with that of the VRM in sending the corresponding audio wave signals, related screen selections, and remote control function requests to the headphones or through the interior speakers.
Mopar Accessory headphones (sales code - XRR) are NOT compatible with the VRM.
The VRM receives a fused B(+) from a 15 amp fuse in the Power Distribution Center (PDC). Ground is continuously supplied via an eyelet connected to a ground stud behind the right kick panel.
