- Disconnect vacuum hoses from sensor. Connect suitable vacuum pump and gauge to sensor. Make sure sensor temperature is below 40°F.
- Apply 14 in. Hg to sensor. With sensor temperature below 40°F, vacuum should be maintained. Heat sensor to above 55°F. Air bleed valve should open and vacuum should decrease to zero. Replace switch if defective.
