Entering On-Board Diagnostics: Notes
- Before entering on-board diagnostics, refer to PRETEST INSPECTION
. Turn ignition off. Attach appropriate cartridge to DRB-II. Connect DRB-II to CCD bus diagnostic connector. See Figure
.
- Turn all accessories off. Turn ignition on. All character positions will glow and copyright information will appear on DRB-II screen for a few seconds. Display will then change to DRB-II menu.
- If DRB-II displays an error message or screen is blank, refer to VEHICLE COMMUNICATIONS charts. Always start at TEST 1A - GENERAL FAILURE MESSAGES

- Following DRB-II modes are accessible from DRB-II menu: VEHICLES TESTED, HOW TO USE, CONFIGURE and SELECT SYSTEM.
