Test 3B - No Response From Body Control Module

NOTE: For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  and WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform TEST VER-2A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting any module connector.
  1. Inspect fuse No. 2 (gauge) in junction block. If fuse is okay, go to step 3). If fuse is open, turn ignition off. Replace fuse. Turn ignition on. Inspect fuse No. 2. If fuse is open, go to next step. If fuse is okay, circuit is currently operating correctly.
  2. Turn ignition off. Remove Body Control Module (BCM) from junction block. Junction block is located under left side of instrument panel. Replace fuse No. 2. Turn ignition on. Inspect fuse No. 2. If fuse is okay, replace BCM. If fuse is open, repair fused ignition switch output circuit for short to ground. Replace fuse.
  3. Turn ignition off. Replace fuse No. 3 (rear wiper) in junction block. Turn ignition on. Inspect fuse No. 3. If fuse is okay, circuit is currently operating correctly. If fuse is open, go to next step.
  4. Turn ignition off. Remove BCM from junction block. Replace fuse No. 3. Turn ignition on. Inspect fuse No. 3. If fuse is okay, replace BCM. If fuse is open, repair fused ignition switch output circuit for short to ground. Replace fuse.
