Windshield Wiper Test 2D - Wipers Not Working At All

NOTE: Perform WINDSHIELD WIPER TEST 2A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Remove jumper wire from front wiper ON relay. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, measure voltage at terminal "A" on front wiper ON relay socket. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair or replace Power Distribution Center (PDC).
  2. Reinstall wiper ON relay. Access Body Control Module (BCM) connector "B". BCM is located with junction block under driver's side instrument panel. See Figure . Remove connector cover. Do not disconnect connector. Connect jumper wire between ground and terminal No. 73 (Red/Violet wire) on BCM connector "B".
  3. If wiper motor operates, replace BCM. If wiper motor does not operate, remove wiper ON relay. Do not disconnect jumper wire. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, measure resistance at terminal "C" on relay socket. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace relay. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open Red/Violet wire between BCM and front wiper ON relay socket.
