Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS) - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Remove the components to access the battery Battery - Removal.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS).
3. Disconnect the harness from the IBS (2),

WARNING: Do not remove the captive nut, doing so will cause the stud to break.

4. Loosen the captive nut (1).
5. Remove the IBS (3) from the negative battery post.
